ONW Blood Drive 2015.

The scope of the project for the blood drive video was to get 2 interviews and 6 shot sequence B-roll. The B-roll I used wasn't just B-roll i filmed it was also other people. To start the project off I wrote 21 questions then I wrote a story about the footage I had and used that to use as a outline for my story. I learned to use the software better, every time you use the software you improve on your skills. I would say I need more work on the filming aspect of my projects. I got the project done on time but I need to value my time better and be able to put out more quality work, If I would of had more time I would of liked to made sure i put the B-roll in more of a 6 shot sequence. I would value my time better, and spend more time on the editing aspect to clean things up. I like how I finished the project on time I would like to do that again. I will do more of a 6 shot sequence and follow that better.  This project overall was about Students and teachers coming together to donate blood to potential save lives for the people who have cancer to wrecks.

Motif

For graphic design class we were required to make motifs, This is my motif or at least what I think a motif is. 

Photoshop Shadow Project.

 

We did a shadow project today in graphic design this my image I chose to add a shadow to. I added a shadow to the baseball because baseball is my favorite sport. The shadow I added is facing the left of the ball. To do that I had to create to copy a layer off the ball. After that it became down to add the shadow. The Shadow I added was a blackish looking shadow. To be if you were holding the baseball that's how the shadow would be facing. 

Professional Project Review Post: Blood Donation Student Review.

This story is a student who is interviewing other students about giving blood. The reason I’m looking at this is to get ideas of what I can do when i interview people Friday about giving blood. I’m analyzing the shots they took and also the questions they asked to the people. In this video sometimes they do a good job of shooting the video the other times they are doing a bad job. The story being told was that students at a school came together to help other people in need even though they may never know them. The students were very excited that they were able to donate. One thing I will apply to my work is to make sure to move the camera to a different angle every 50 seconds. They did a nice job of the people being interviewed looking to the left. The creator of this video did a very good job he told the story well of the kids giving blood, but also the story of how the blood there donating can save other peoples lives. They could improve on when they were asking questions that next time they should get closer up so that there in there business and look more interesting.
